Senior Analyst, Quality Grant Management

About the role

The Senior Analyst, Quality Grant Management provides QA/QC oversight for federally funded reimbursement activities, ensuring compliance with FEMA, DOE, and other grant requirements. The role supports continuous improvement of reimbursement processes while minimizing compliance risks.

Key responsibilities

• Perform QA/QC reviews of reimbursement packages before submission to ensure compliance with FEMA Public Assistance, DOE, and other federal grant requirements.
• Review procurement documentation, contracts, invoices, labor records, force account documentation, equipment records, and supporting documentation to validate eligibility and compliance.
• Identify documentation deficiencies, compliance risks, and eligibility issues, and coordinate corrective actions with reimbursement preparers and project stakeholders.
• Interpret FEMA policies, Public Assistance guidance, and 2 CFR Part 200 as they relate to reimbursement eligibility.
• Monitor reimbursement quality metrics and identify opportunities to improve documentation standards, review processes, and operational efficiency.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Engineering, Public Administration, Construction Management, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience, including at least 3 years supporting federally funded grant programs, preferably FEMA Public Assistance.
• Experience preparing, reviewing, or performing QA/QC of Request for Reimbursement packages.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and written communication skills.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience using FEMA Grants Portal or similar grant management systems (e.g., DRS).
