Senior Actuarial Specialist

About the role

We are looking for an experienced actuarial professional to join our GSD team in Lisbon. This hybrid position requires at least three days per week in the office and focuses on reviewing and validating actuarial valuations, especially for Portuguese pension and insurance schemes.

Key responsibilities

• Review and validate actuarial valuations for Portuguese pension and insurance schemes.
• Perform peer reviews of actuarial assessments and technical outputs.
• Ensure accuracy, quality, and consistency of valuation calculations and documentation.
• Collaborate with internal teams to support delivery and technical review.
• Manage timelines, priorities, and technical workload in line with business needs.

Required profile

• More than 8 years of experience in technical life actuarial roles.
• Strong background in actuarial valuation work, particularly in the Portuguese market.
• Professional level of English, both written and spoken.
• Ability to work independently with strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
