About the role

Join the Food & Beverage team at Martinhal Sagres as a Second Waiter. You will help create memorable dining experiences for international guests in a luxury 5‑star resort setting.

Key responsibilities

• Provide table service using professional techniques and attentive communication.
• Operate the POS system efficiently for order entry and payment processing.
• Maintain knowledge of food product characteristics to answer guest inquiries.
• Collaborate with kitchen and senior service staff to ensure smooth service flow.
• Uphold the resort’s high standards of hygiene, presentation, and guest satisfaction.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year experience in a 5‑star hotel or signature restaurant/bar.
• Proficiency in foreign languages with industry‑specific vocabulary.
• Strong table‑service and communication techniques.
• Familiarity with MS Office and POS systems.
• Understanding of food product characteristics.
