Search Engine Optimization Specialist

About the role

BarterBarter is a fast‑growing creator marketing platform that connects brands with content creators. The SEO Specialist will own and evolve Barter's inbound search visibility across multiple markets and emerging search surfaces, including AI‑driven engines, TikTok, Reddit and YouTube.

Key responsibilities

• Take operational ownership of the inbound search strategy across Google, AI engines, TikTok, Reddit and YouTube, adapting the existing draft to current market dynamics.
• Define keyword and intent strategies for all active languages and markets, covering informational, comparison and transactional stages.
• Design and execute on‑page optimisation (meta tags, internal linking, content structure, schema markup) and lead technical SEO audits (Core Web Vitals, crawlability, indexation, mobile usability, hreflang and locale structures).
• Monitor and grow site authority through backlink acquisition and content authority initiatives.
• Develop visibility tactics for AI‑driven search results and pilot SEO approaches on TikTok, Reddit and YouTube.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience with international SEO, including hreflang implementation and locale‑specific content adaptation.
• Strong technical rigour and ability to conduct detailed SEO audits.
• Curiosity for AI‑augmented SEO practices and willingness to experiment with emerging search surfaces.
• Excellent analytical mindset and ability to translate data into actionable strategies.
