SAP Test Manager – Governance, Strategy & Automation Lead

About the role

We are looking for a seasoned SAP Test Manager to lead enterprise‑wide test governance, strategy and automation for a large‑scale SAP transformation program. The role will ensure end‑to‑end quality across digital core transformation, including data integrations, Fiori enablement and global template rollouts.

Key responsibilities

• Define and drive an enterprise SAP (ECC & S/4 HANA) test strategy covering business processes, RICEFW objects, Fiori apps and cross‑system integrations.
• Establish a governance model aligned with SAP Activate phases and set regression strategies for ECC‑to‑S/4 coexistence.
• Lead the automation roadmap using Worksoft Certify, covering end‑to‑end processes, regression packs, data‑driven scenarios, Fiori and GUI automation.
• Integrate automation tools with OpenText ALM, SAP Solution Manager and Jira for traceability and reduce manual regression effort.
• Oversee SIT, UAT, manual & automated regression, integration, performance, volume and go‑live testing; manage defect triage and risk‑based prioritisation.
• Govern usage of OpenText ALM, SAP Solution Manager Test Suite and Jira, ensuring requirement‑to‑defect traceability.
• Develop real‑time Power BI dashboards delivering test status, automation progress, regression trends and defect leakage metrics to steering committees.
• Collaborate with program directors, project managers, business process owners and functional leads.

Required profile

• Extensive experience leading SAP test governance, strategy and automation for large transformation programmes.
• Strong expertise in Worksoft Certify and familiarity with OpenText ALM, SAP Solution Manager and Jira.
• Deep knowledge of SAP ECC, SAP S/4 HANA, SAP Fiori and cross‑system integrations.
• Proven ability to define KPIs, risk frameworks and quality gates.
• Leadership skills to mentor automation architects and drive stakeholder alignment.
