Sales Representative – Retail & Foodservice (Bilingual)

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Sales Representative to manage retail and foodservice sales of BBQ products across Northern Puerto Rico. The role focuses on building relationships with independent retailers, small distributors, and restaurant operators while driving revenue growth.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, prospect, and develop new business opportunities within independent retail outlets, small distributors, and foodservice restaurants.
• Manage and expand a portfolio of existing customers, increasing volume and product mix.
• Execute sales strategies to meet or exceed volume, revenue, and distribution targets.
• Increase product penetration and visibility across the assigned territory.
• Conduct regular sales visits, product presentations, and new‑product integration discussions.
• Negotiate contracts in line with company guidelines.
• Provide accurate volume forecasts for imported and plant‑produced products.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to uncover growth opportunities.
• Ensure timely collection of payments and adherence to credit policies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field (preferred).
• 2‑5 years of sales experience, preferably in retail or foodservice.
• Bilingual – fluent in Spanish and English, both written and spoken.
• Proven track record in business development and account management.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship‑building abilities.
• Self‑motivated, able to work independently and manage a territory.
• Willingness to travel throughout Northern Puerto Rico.
