Sales / Key Account Manager – Hospitality & Restaurant Industry

About the role

We are looking for a Sales / Key Account Manager to drive the digital transformation of the Portuguese hospitality sector. You will act as a trusted advisor, showcasing Platomico’s all‑in‑one solution for restaurants and helping clients optimise operations from the kitchen to the floor.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, prospect and close new business with independent restaurants, chains and franchises.
• Generate leads through networking, referrals and proactive outreach.
• Present customised proposals, handle objections and guide prospects from demo to contract.
• Achieve and exceed sales targets on a regular basis.
• Manage and retain key accounts, serving as the main point of contact.
• Identify upsell and cross‑sell opportunities within existing customers.
• Maintain your own pipeline, agenda and travel routes with autonomy.
• Collect and relay customer feedback to product and support teams.
• Represent Platomico at trade fairs, events and industry gatherings in the HORECA sector.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience in the hospitality or restaurant industry (HORECA) with a solid understanding of daily operations.
• Proven B2B sales experience or strong motivation to develop in this field.
• Ability to build long‑term relationships and act as a trusted advisor.
• Self‑driven, organised and comfortable managing an independent sales pipeline.

Required skills

• Experience selling SaaS or technology solutions to hospitality businesses.
