About the role
The Room Attendant ensures that guest rooms and public areas are clean, tidy, and welcoming. This position is essential to delivering a high‑standard hospitality experience for all guests.
Key responsibilities
- Thoroughly clean guestrooms according to company standards.
- Prepare housekeeping carts with supplies, cleaning products, and linen before each shift.
- Remove trash and used linen from rooms and hallways.
- Maintain cleanliness of hallways, public areas, and closets, including vacuuming.
- Restock cleaning carts for the next day and replenish chemical bottles.
- Report missing items, maintenance issues, and lost‑and‑found items to the Housekeeping Supervisor/Manager.
- Contribute to overall guest satisfaction through attentive service.
Required profile
- High School diploma or equivalent; hospitality experience preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lb occasionally and 20 lb frequently.
- Capable of standing for the entire shift.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with guests and team members.
