Revenue Accountant – In Vitro Business

About the role

We are looking for a Revenue Accountant to join the In Vitro business of a leading global medical‑technology company. You will be responsible for the end‑to‑end revenue accounting of the contract portfolio, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and supporting the finance team in accurate financial reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Review and assess In Vitro/Diagnostics contracts against IFRS and internal accounting requirements.
• Record order entries, maintain order backlog, and manage revenue recognition processes.
• Ensure integrity of key financial figures such as order entry, revenue, costs, and related balances.
• Liaise with Finance Head, Controlling, Accounting HUB and other internal teams to communicate business cases.
• Provide financial information to external auditors during quarter‑ and year‑end closings.
• Perform ad‑hoc analyses and contribute to continuous process improvement.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in economics, management, accounting or a related field.
• Significant professional experience in revenue accounting or related finance functions.
• Strong understanding of commercial contract execution, value flows and key financial metrics.
• Excellent analytical mindset, structured work approach and strong affinity for numbers.
• Very good written and spoken English.

Required skills

• Knowledge of IFRS 15 and IFRS 16 accounting standards.
• Operational experience with SAP modules SD, CO, FI and preferably RAR.
