Restaurant Manager – Upscale Dining Venue in Lisbon

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Restaurant Manager to lead an upscale dining venue in a prime area of Lisbon. You will be the face of the guest experience, ensuring warmth, attention to detail, and memorable service at every touchpoint.

Key responsibilities

• Own the guest experience, delivering consistent high‑hospitality standards.
• Lead operational execution during peak shifts, events, and key service moments.
• Oversee floor and bar operations, maintaining service quality, product consistency, ambience, and team coordination.
• Plan, publish, and manage team schedules, aligning shifts with business needs.
• Control absences in the HRIS, review time records, and ensure accurate payroll processing.
• Handle onboarding, performance reviews, vacation planning, and contract renewals.
• Monitor and enforce HACCP, health, safety, and sanitation protocols.
• Execute opening and closing procedures, including venue readiness, briefings, stock checks, and documentation.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of hospitality leadership in high‑quality, guest‑focused environments.
• Proven experience managing both restaurant floor and bar service.
• Strong bar and wine knowledge, including wine pairing.
• Demonstrated ability to increase average ticket value.
• Comfortable leading busy services, events, and high‑pressure situations with calm and structure.
• Excellent understanding of FOH and BOH coordination, scheduling, HRIS routines, and payroll processes.
• Inspiring, supportive, and decisive leadership style that motivates diverse teams.
• Fluent in English; Portuguese or additional languages are a plus.
