Restaurant Manager – Fast‑Casual Mexican Street Food

About the role

Vida Plena is seeking a Restaurant Manager for Condesa, a fast‑casual Mexican street‑food concept. You will own the floor, drive the pace, and build a team that makes the venue a destination.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain high service standards, address guest feedback, and build strong relationships.
• Lead operational presence on peak shifts, oversee floor and bar, and ensure brand standards are met.
• Manage budgets, track revenue and expenses, optimise labour costs and drive profitability.
• Plan and publish staff schedules, control absences, and ensure accurate payroll records.
• Recruit, train, motivate staff, and handle performance management and contract renewals.
• Monitor online reviews, respond to negatives, and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with HACCP, health, safety and sanitation standards through regular audits.
• Oversee opening and closing procedures, cash handling, stock checks and asset control.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar hospitality management role.
• Proven ability to manage both restaurant floor and bar operations.
• Strong understanding of front‑of‑house and back‑of‑house coordination, HR processes and financial oversight.
• Fluent in English; Portuguese or local language a plus.
• Available to work night shifts from 4 PM to 12 AM.

Required skills

• Experience with scheduling and HRIS systems.
• Knowledge of HACCP and health‑safety regulations.
