Resident Quality Inspector – Bus Pre‑Delivery Inspections

About the role

We are looking for a meticulous Resident Quality Inspector to lead pre‑delivery testing and inspections of new trolleybuses at the manufacturer’s production facility. The successful candidate will ensure every vehicle complies with rigorous safety, mechanical and electrical standards before it is cleared for shipment.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive audits of chassis, body panels, mechanical/air systems, lighting and overall fit‑and‑finish.
• Evaluate trolleybus specific systems such as traction motors, current collectors, energy storage and charging functions.
• Witness water‑leak tests and participate in road tests to verify propulsion, regenerative braking and noise control.
• Log production snags, verify repairs and sign off final delivery documentation.
• Create and maintain an inspection schedule, upload findings and photos to an online tracking tool.
• Deliver weekly vehicle status reports and monthly progress forecasts to the Project Manager.
• Serve as the primary liaison between the factory and the customer, joining weekly calls and supporting Pacific Standard Time business hours.

Required profile

• Full professional proficiency in Polish (CEFR C1 or higher) for communication with plant staff.
• Strong written and spoken English for reporting and coordination with North American teams.
• Proven experience in vehicle quality assurance, heavy‑vehicle mechanics or transit bus manufacturing inspection.
• Familiarity with high‑voltage electric vehicle architectures, trolleybus current‑collection apparatus or advanced transit IT systems is highly desirable.
