Reliability Test Engineer – Hydraulics

About the role

As a Reliability Test Engineer for Hydraulics, you will ensure the robustness and performance of hydraulic components through structured testing, failure analysis, and close collaboration with development teams. You will be actively involved in defining, executing, and improving test procedures in a laboratory environment.

Key responsibilities

• Create, review, and continuously improve reliability test procedures for hydraulic components.
• Own problem‑solving for test‑related issues and conduct in‑depth product failure analysis.
• Analyze test results, identify root causes, and propose technical corrective actions.
• Communicate findings and analytical reports clearly to cross‑functional development teams.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to align testing activities with product development.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Physics Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Previous experience in technical product development or laboratory testing environments.
• Strong analytical mindset, proactive attitude, and structured problem‑solving skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English.

Required skills

• Solid understanding of hydraulics, thermodynamics, and material science.
• Knowledge of component design, statistical methods, and reliability testing methodologies.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Familiarity with lab‑environment tools such as Matlab or LabView.
