Receptionist – Front Desk at Porto Campus Residence

About the role

We are seeking a friendly and professional Receptionist to be the first point of contact for residents, guests, and visitors at our Porto Campus residence. You will play a central role in ensuring smooth front‑desk operations, delivering excellent customer service throughout busy operational periods.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome residents, guests, and visitors, providing a courteous and helpful experience.
• Manage front‑desk and telephone inquiries, responding promptly to requests and issues.
• Support check‑in and check‑out processes, especially during peak times.
• Perform administrative tasks, handle correspondence, and maintain internal documentation.
• Coordinate closely with Maintenance, Housekeeping, and Operations teams to ensure seamless daily operations.
• Monitor building access, manage keys, and uphold residence service standards.
• Ensure company policies, procedures, and values are reflected in all interactions.

Required profile

• Previous experience in reception or front‑desk roles, preferably in hospitality, student accommodation, or a customer‑focused environment.
• Strong customer orientation with excellent communication skills.
• High level of responsibility, organization, and attention to detail.
• Ability to remain calm and effective under pressure, especially during busy periods.
• Fluency in Portuguese and English is mandatory; additional languages are a plus.
