QA Software Engineer – Porto

About the role

O-Pitblast is seeking a QA Software Engineer to ensure the delivery of high‑quality digital drill and blast solutions for mining, engineering, and quarrying operations. You will work on‑site in Porto, collaborating with cross‑functional teams to maintain and improve software reliability.

Key responsibilities

• Perform manual and automated testing to identify bugs and validate functionality.
• Develop, document, and execute test cases and scripts.
• Maintain and support existing software systems, providing technical assistance to users.
• Collaborate with product managers, developers, and designers to resolve issues and enhance quality.
• Suggest improvements to testing methodologies and tools for greater efficiency.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (optional) or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience with both manual and automated software testing.
• Understanding of agile development practices.
• Strong learning agility, attention to detail, and problem‑solving mindset.
