About the role

Content Guru is hosting a Graduate Assessment Day on 15 October in its Porto office, looking for recent graduates to join the Application Engineering team as Software Developers. The role involves delivering high‑quality, mission‑critical communication solutions for global customers, from design through to maintenance.

Key responsibilities

• Write and review C# code, design new application components and obtain internal sign‑off for specifications.
• Develop back‑end features within an Agile Scrum team, ensuring thorough testing and quality‑assurance validation before release.
• Diagnose and fix bugs, perform platform upgrades, and conduct peer reviews of colleagues’ work.
• Prototype new applications, stay current with development trends, and experiment with emerging technologies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related STEM discipline.
• Experience developing commercial projects in C# and working with Microsoft SQL Server.
• Familiarity with source‑control (Git) and Agile/Scrum development processes.
• Understanding of application security standards such as OWASP ASVS.
