About the role

Fyld is seeking an experienced Python Backend Developer to design and maintain robust, scalable, and maintainable backend solutions. You will work within a collaborative team that values autonomy, critical thinking, and continuous growth.

Key responsibilities

Develop and enhance backend applications and services using Python.
Design, implement, and maintain RESTful APIs.
Integrate third‑party APIs and external systems.
Write clean, well‑structured code following software architecture best practices.
Perform automated testing and ensure code quality.
Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimise production applications.
Collaborate with Agile development teams.

Required profile

Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT or a related field.
Minimum 3 years of professional experience with Python.
Fluency in English.

Required skills

Python 3.x and object‑oriented programming.
Frameworks such as Django, Flask, FastAPI.
Design and development of REST APIs.
Relational databases: PostgreSQL, MySQL.
SQL and ORM technologies.
Version control with Git.
Docker and CI/CD pipelines.
Backend security best practices.
Automated testing.
Agile development methodologies.
