Purchasing Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Purchasing Specialist to join the procurement department of a leading aerospace company. You will support internal stakeholders by managing purchase requests, creating and tracking purchase orders, and ensuring smooth supplier communication.

Key responsibilities

• Review and validate Purchase Requests (PRs).
• Create, update, and follow up on Purchase Orders (POs) in SAP.
• Conduct operational sourcing activities.
• Provide Service Desk support to internal customers.
• Maintain catalogues and other informational records.
• Communicate regularly with suppliers and internal buyers.
• Utilise ERP (SAP) and procurement tools such as Coupa.

Required profile

• 1‑3 years of experience in supply chain or procurement.
• Strong communication skills and customer‑focused mindset.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, especially during emergencies.
• Eagerness to learn new tools and embrace continuous improvement.
• Fluent English (negotiation level); additional languages a plus.
• Reliability, rigor, and concentration in daily work.
