Business Travel Consultant – French (Start Oct)

About the role

Navan is looking for a French‑speaking Business Travel Consultant to join its Travel Experience team in Portugal. Starting in October, you will be the frontline contact for travelers, helping them book flights, hotels, cars and rail journeys while ensuring a seamless experience.

Key responsibilities

• Provide travel support via chat, phone and email, meeting SLA targets.
• Handle bookings for hotels, flights, car rentals and rail using GDS platforms.
• Stay up‑to‑date on suppliers, destinations and Navan’s systems.
• Guide customers to self‑service options on the Navan platform and app.
• Escalate and resolve issues in collaboration with product, design and engineering teams.
• Give feedback on processes and product improvements.
• Participate in team meetings and training, maintaining attendance and performance metrics.

Required profile

• 5+ years experience as a travel consultant covering air, rail and hotel bookings.
• 3+ years using a GDS (Sabre, Amadeus or Galileo).
• Fluent in English and French.
• Background in contact‑center or customer‑facing roles.
• Flexible to work rotating shifts, Monday‑Sunday, 7 am‑11 pm.
• Empathetic, professional communication skills.
