Property Management Team Lead

About the role

We are seeking a Property Management Team Lead to oversee a remote team responsible for leasing, maintenance coordination, collections, and administrative functions. This role is based in Portugal and offers the chance to drive operational excellence across multiple facets of residential property management.

Key responsibilities

• Lead daily operations across leasing, collections, maintenance coordination, and administration.
• Supervise and support remote team members, including leasing agents, maintenance coordinators, collections specialists, and administrative staff.
• Ensure prompt handling of rental inquiries to maximize lead conversion.
• Monitor KPIs such as applications, approvals, move‑ins, occupancy levels, collections performance, and team productivity.
• Oversee rental marketing on platforms like Facebook Marketplace, Craigslist, Zillow, and other channels.
• Create, manage, and optimize advertising campaigns to improve lead generation and conversion.
• Analyze campaign performance and recommend improvements.
• Review operational reports, coordinate maintenance requests, and provide daily coaching and feedback.
• Identify operational challenges and implement workflow improvements.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in apartment, multifamily, or residential property management.
• Proven experience supervising teams across leasing, maintenance coordination, collections, and administrative operations.
• Strong knowledge of leasing processes, rent collections, renewals, notices, delinquency management, work orders, and occupancy strategies.
• Experience managing virtual or remote teams in a structured environment.
