Project Manager – Power Systems

About the role

STET, the exclusive representative of Caterpillar and other leading brands in Portugal and Cape Verde, is looking for a Project Manager to lead power‑systems projects. You will be responsible for delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards while coordinating cross‑functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Define project scope, objectives, and detailed plans, including schedules, milestones, and resource allocation.
• Ensure personnel, equipment, and materials are available and efficiently utilized throughout the project lifecycle.
• Identify, assess, and develop mitigation strategies for potential project risks.
• Maintain clear communication with customers, project teams, and suppliers, aligning activities with project objectives.
• Monitor progress, detect deviations from the plan, and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Control project budgets and ensure compliance with quality standards.

Required profile

• Responsible, dynamic and proactive attitude.
• Strong team player capable of effective collaboration.

Required skills

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering – Power Systems.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Project Manager.
• Availability for mandatory training programmes in Portugal and abroad.
• Willingness to travel nationally and internationally.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Project.
