Maintenance Technician

About the role

Cerealis, a leading agri‑food group in Portugal, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join its Operations Directorate team at the Maia production unit. You will be responsible for keeping critical plant equipment running efficiently and safely.

Key responsibilities

• Execute and implement preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance plans in line with quality, food‑safety and hygiene procedures.
• Ensure continuous and efficient operation of all equipment through proper upkeep and monitoring.
• Diagnose and resolve complex technical faults using appropriate tools across electrical, mechanical and other technological areas.
• Record and report breakdowns, identifying root causes and corrective actions to support continuous improvement.
• Assist with the installation, testing and commissioning of new equipment, ensuring seamless integration into production.

Required profile

• Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in industrial maintenance.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel.
• Fluency in English is preferred.
• Availability to work in shifts.
• Proactive, resilient and able to work independently.
