Project Manager / Pension Administration Specialist

About the role

Join the Ireland Consulting Team of Mercer, based in Lisbon, to support the Scheme Transition Unit Administration. You will manage pension scheme transitions and provide compliant services to a portfolio of clients.

Key responsibilities

• Administer a diverse portfolio of Defined Benefit and Defined Contribution pension schemes.
• Ensure compliance with Service Level Agreements and monitor task completion.
• Liaise with offshore colleagues and collaborate with other departments to meet project timelines.
• Assist the Fund Accounts team with Trustee Annual Report preparation and support day‑to‑day team operations.

Required profile

• Excellent written and spoken English (C1/C2) with strong attention to detail.
• High organisational ability, analytical skills and a proactive, goal‑oriented mindset.
• Relevant degree in Economics, Management or similar and prior experience in a similar role.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.
