About the role
As a member of the Transformation team at Hiscox, you will lead medium to large‑scale projects and workstreams across the portfolio, guiding them from vision through to outcome realisation. You will champion best practices, drive continuous improvement, and ensure successful delivery of business change initiatives.
Key responsibilities
- Lead medium to large projects or workstreams within a programme/portfolio.
- Define scope, deliverables and success criteria in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Manage projects using the Change Delivery Framework, ensuring time, quality and cost targets are met.
- Build robust business cases with sponsors, outlining outcomes, benefits and measures.
- Control project budgets, risks, issues and resource allocation, escalating deviations as needed.
- Develop and execute stakeholder, communication and learning plans to support business readiness.
- Close projects, capture lessons learned and feed them into continuous improvement.
- Coach and mentor less experienced team members.
Required profile
- Extensive experience with both Waterfall and Agile project methodologies.
- Strong understanding of PM best practices, governance and change management.
- Proven ability to manage budgets, risks and multi‑disciplinary resources.
- Attention to detail and a results‑oriented mindset.
