Project Manager Capital Projects

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Professional Engineer (PE) with a strong background in pharmaceutical capital projects. The successful candidate will lead complex engineering and construction initiatives from planning through execution and closeout, ensuring safety, quality and regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead capital projects from initiation through closeout, developing scope, budgets, schedules, procurement and risk plans.
• Coordinate engineering, construction, commissioning and startup activities.
• Review engineering designs, evaluate technical bids and manage change orders.
• Prepare project documentation, status reports, meeting minutes and turnover packages.
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget and meet quality and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management or a related technical discipline.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license (required).
• PMP certification or equivalent is a plus.
• 10+ years of project management experience, preferably in pharmaceutical capital projects.
• Proven construction management and field execution experience.
• Excellent technical writing, reporting and communication skills.
