Production Supervisor – Rio Maior

About the role

Sibelco is looking for a Production Supervisor to lead and continuously improve production activities at its Rio Maior site in Portugal. You will ensure safe, efficient operations while aligning production output with customer specifications and budget constraints.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise all production activities, guaranteeing safety and health standards for employees and subcontractors.
• Motivate the team to report unsafe behaviours and ensure compliance with permits and local regulations.
• Develop and maintain a yearly work plan approved by local authorities.
• Monitor production against schedule, budget and quality targets, coordinating with the production scheduler and managers.
• Balance customer demands with quality, quantity, efficiency and cost objectives.
• Evaluate and support team members’ development and performance.

Required profile

• Practical understanding of the industrial mineral industry.
• Strong knowledge of Sibelco safety regulations and ability to enforce them.
• Effective communication and motivational skills.
• Open‑minded, proactive, independent and capable of leading a team.
