Production & Compliance Specialist

About the role

Join Curaleaf International’s growing team in Setubal as a Production & Compliance Specialist. You will act as the bridge between production delivery and quality assurance, ensuring every process, record and activity complies with strict GMP requirements for our regulated medical‑cannabis manufacturing.

Key responsibilities

• Support daily production activities, guaranteeing alignment with GMP and all applicable regulatory standards.
• Review batch records, SOPs and production forms for completeness and accuracy.
• Assist the production team with deviation management, root‑cause investigations, CAPA implementation and change‑control processes.
• Maintain up‑to‑date production records and prepare documentation for internal, external and regulatory audits.
• Contribute to GMP training for production staff and promote a quality‑first culture.
• Track production KPIs and help identify and deliver process improvements.
• Assist with equipment, process and validation activities as required.
• Serve as the point of contact between Production and Quality teams for day‑to‑day compliance matters.
• Support data entry, system maintenance and reporting within the company’s ERP platform.

Required profile

• Proven experience working in a GMP‑regulated manufacturing environment.
• Clear understanding of production workflows and controls within a regulated setting.
• Fluency in English and Portuguese, both written and spoken.
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
