Product Engineer, Core

About the role

Bounce is looking for a Product Engineer to join its Lisbon office and help build new products on top of its marketplace platform. You will work on improving marketplace health, supporting operational teams, and maintaining the core Bounce experience.

Key responsibilities

• Own initiatives that improve end‑to‑end customer and partner journeys, from search to repeat bookings.
• Partner with Supply, Partner Success and Customer Support to raise supply quality and reduce operational load.
• Maintain day‑to‑day reliability of core services, address production issues and improve resiliency.
• Write high‑quality code for mobile and web applications using Elixir, React Native, Expo, React, NextJS and Typescript.

Required profile

• Experience developing and shipping production code in a fast‑paced environment.
• Generalist mindset with a focus on velocity and end‑to‑end feature ownership.
• Commitment to delivering an exceptional user experience and attention to detail.

Required skills

• Proficient in Javascript, Typescript, Elixir or Ruby.
• Experience with frontend frameworks such as React, React Native, NextJS, and CSS.
• Knowledge of API design, unit/integration testing and CI/CD pipelines.
