Product Director

About the role

OLX is seeking a seasoned Product Director to own the vision, strategy and roadmap for its core horizontal marketplace covering household goods, electronics and other general merchandise. This global role will focus on a set of European markets and will be instrumental in driving growth, engagement and monetisation for both buyers and sellers.

Key responsibilities

• Define and own the product vision, strategy and roadmap for the horizontal marketplace.
• Lead AI‑driven transformation and the incubation of a fully agentic marketplace.
• Manage a product organisation of roughly 15 members, ensuring strong product‑management fundamentals such as experimentation, documentation and opportunity discovery.
• Collaborate closely with engineering, design and commercial teams to align product development with business priorities.
• Identify and execute strategic opportunities, including new monetisation levers and cross‑market improvements.
• Establish and scale best practices in product thinking and execution across the team.
• Recruit, mentor and develop high‑performing product managers and leaders.
• Partner with senior stakeholders in finance, commercial and other functions to build consensus on strategy.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading product organisations in marketplace or e‑commerce environments.
• Hands‑on, data‑driven approach to product innovation with a focus on growth, retention and monetisation.
• Strong ability to work cross‑functionally with engineering, design and commercial teams.
• Track record of delivering AI‑enabled product solutions.
• Excellent leadership, mentorship and stakeholder‑management skills.
