Product Development Engineer – Manufacturing & Design

About the role

Superior Wellness is seeking a Product Development Engineer to drive technical design, monitor daily product performance, and lead continuous improvement initiatives within its fast-growing wellness product manufacturing environment in Portugal.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and interpret technical drawings.
• Develop and maintain work instructions, procedures, and technical documentation.
• Structure and organize production tasks and workstations.
• Optimize and standardize manufacturing processes.
• Apply structured problem-solving methodologies.
• Identify and implement productivity improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Dynamic, proactive and results-oriented.
• Strong learning ability and adaptability.
• Excellent communication and critical-thinking skills.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Engineering and Management.

Required skills

• Proficiency in 3D CAD software (Fusion 360 and SolidWorks).
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles.
• Familiarity with Quality Management tools.
