Procurement Operations Analyst – Early Career Role

About the role

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is looking for an early‑career Procurement Operations Analyst to join its global procurement team. The role is hybrid, requiring an average of two days per week in an HPE office, and focuses on supporting commodity and category strategies worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Provide procurement support across a range of simple to complex commodities and technologies.
• Collaborate with internal partners such as finance, legal, engineering, and manufacturing to meet business objectives and ensure compliance.
• Execute process improvements and maintain current procurement operations and processes.
• Participate in supplier selection activities and assess the supply base for assigned categories.
• Negotiate contracts with low‑risk suppliers and manage day‑to‑day operations for low‑complexity suppliers.
• May lead activities in less complex domains and support inventory management where applicable.

Required profile

• Intermediate level subject‑matter knowledge with the ability to solve common business issues.
• Experience handling moderately complex problems and providing analysis as an informed team member.
• Independent judgment within defined guidelines and the ability to evaluate unique circumstances.
• Strong collaboration skills with internal and external stakeholders.
