Policy and Communications Associate

About the role

PwC Services Portugal (PSP) is seeking a Policy and Communications Associate to join its multidisciplinary, international team. The role focuses on strategic policy communications for government and international organisations, supporting projects in economic development, trade, innovation, investment, technology and sustainability.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute communications strategies and planning.
• Create digital content and manage online campaigns, including digital marketing.
• Handle public relations, stakeholder engagement and media outreach.
• Design, manage and execute events.
• Conduct market research, analysis and reporting.
• Provide project‑management support to cross‑functional teams.

Required profile

• 1‑3 years of relevant work experience.
• Degree in a related field such as Social Sciences, Journalism, Business, Marketing, International Relations, Economics, Engineering or similar.
• Native‑level proficiency in English.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• High proficiency with MS Office tools (PowerPoint, Excel, Word) and PowerBI.
• Experience with at least one social‑media analytics tool and one social‑media management platform.
• Experience with an events or community‑engagement platform.

Required skills

• Content creation and design tools: Canva, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), video editing tools such as Capcut.
• Social‑media analytics and management tools: Google Analytics, Matomo, Sprout Social, HubSpot, Hootsuite, Zoho.
• Data visualization and reporting: PowerBI.
