Corporate Communications & PR Specialist (Temporary)

About the role

This temporary position is responsible for developing and executing communications plans that support the company’s brand reputation and stakeholder engagement. The specialist will ensure all internal and external content complies with health‑insurance regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and draft communications plans and initiatives for all business lines, ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with communication partners to identify opportunities that enhance brand awareness among providers, members, and other stakeholders.
• Create and edit health‑related content for traditional media, digital platforms, newsletters, press releases, op‑eds, and educational events.
• Proofread and standardize all written materials in English and Spanish, guaranteeing flawless spelling, punctuation, and syntax.
• Coordinate interviews, video productions, and the selection of visual assets such as photographs and graphics.
• Generate reports on communications activities and represent management in planning meetings.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field.
• Minimum of three years of experience writing newsletters, press releases, articles, or informational letters.
• Advanced proficiency in both English and Spanish (written and verbal).
