Phone Operator (F/M/X)

About the role

As a Phone Operator at Victoria Golf Resort & Spa, you will be the first voice guests hear, representing the brand and ensuring seamless communication throughout the property. You will handle inbound and outbound calls, provide accurate information about the hotel’s services, and support guest requests with a service‑focused mindset.

Key responsibilities

• Answer telephone calls promptly, courteously, and with a smile, following brand standards.
• Operate the PBX switchboard and Guest Request software to route calls to guest rooms and hotel departments.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of room types, rates, facilities, food & beverage outlets, spa, and local events.
• Record call details, monitor charges, and keep the hotel telephone directory current.
• Take and execute wake‑up call requests and handle in‑room dining orders via the Micros POS system.
• Follow up on guest requests, complaints, and special needs, ensuring timely resolution.
• Manage pre‑arrival email communication and keep guest history profiles accurate.
