About the role
The school seeks a dedicated Philosophy Teacher for the 2026/2027 academic year to deliver engaging lessons and support student wellbeing.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and email lesson plans to the Head of Level and Academic Coordinator.
- Prepare class materials, maintain grade books, and enter grades on schedule.
- Design monthly assessments, grade work, and keep the classroom environment stimulating.
- Supervise playground duties and collaborate with the Psychology Department on academic, behavioural, and special‑needs support.
- Participate in meetings, workshops, parent sessions, and school activities, and act as a mediator for student conflicts.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum 2 years of teaching experience.
- Advanced English proficiency (speaking, reading, writing).
- Commitment to safeguarding, diversity, equity, and inclusion principles.
Required skills
- Proficiency with digital tools and intermediate‑level Microsoft Office.
- Strong organizational, planning, analytical, and communication competencies.
