Pest Control Officer for Regulated Manufacturing

About the role

The Pest Control Officer will support the site’s Integrated Pest Management (IPM) program within a regulated pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. This full‑time, on‑site position ensures pest prevention, monitoring, and control while maintaining compliance with GMP, EHS, and environmental standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections of manufacturing, warehouse, utility, and exterior areas to identify pest activity and potential sources of infestation.
• Execute pest prevention, monitoring, and control activities according to established IPM procedures.
• Maintain and monitor pest control devices, traps, and related equipment.
• Document inspections, pest activity, treatments, findings, and corrective actions accurately and timely.
• Support investigations, root‑cause analysis, and corrective/preventive actions related to pest or environmental findings.
• Handle, store, and dispose of pest control chemicals and waste in compliance with EHS and environmental regulations.

Required profile

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Health, Biology, Chemistry, or related field (preferred).
• 3+ years of hands‑on Integrated Pest Management experience in a regulated manufacturing environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify environmental and pest‑related risks.
• Ability to work independently and coordinate with cross‑functional teams.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish (both spoken and written).
