EHS Manager

About the role

As an EHS Manager you will support the GT Service business in meeting environmental, health and safety requirements, driving a Zero Harm culture and ensuring compliance with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate EHS training initiatives and promote a strong safety culture.
• Analyse incident data, produce reports, identify trends and support root‑cause investigations.
• Provide guidance on regulatory compliance and close identified gaps.
• Facilitate EQS community meetings to share information and updates.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, industrial engineering or environmental engineering.
• CAP level VI Certified Senior Occupational Health and Safety Professional (Portugal).
• 3–6 years of experience in high‑risk activities such as crane operations, machine guarding and energy isolation.
• Fluent in Portuguese and English; willingness to travel up to 20 % internationally.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management systems.
• Auditing and root‑cause investigation expertise.
