Payroll Administrator – French Payroll Specialist

About the role

Join SIXT's Payroll team in Lisbon and take ownership of the French payroll cycle. You will work closely with HR, Finance and external providers to ensure accurate, compliant and timely payroll processing for the French market.

Key responsibilities

• Process French payroll accurately and on schedule.
• Maintain data integrity and ensure legal compliance across payroll systems and providers.
• Collaborate with HR, Finance and third‑party providers to resolve complex payroll issues.
• Prepare payroll reports, support audits and document compliance activities.
• Act as the first point of contact for payroll‑related questions from employees and HR teams.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of payroll processes and assist with system updates and testing.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience with French payroll processes and legislation.
• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Human Resources or a related field.
• Fluent in French and English, both written and spoken.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail.

Required skills

• Experience with payroll and HRIS systems such as ADP and Workday.
