Junior Financial Analyst – PnL

About the role

We are looking for a Junior Financial Analyst – PnL to produce and validate official Economic P&L figures, investigate discrepancies, and support finance and front‑office processes.

Key responsibilities

• Produce and validate official Economic P&L figures and related explanations (market moves, new deals, etc.).
• Investigate discrepancies between Economic P&L and Front Office predictions and perform in‑depth reviews.
• Explain and correct misallocations when technical fixes are unavailable.
• Analyze differences between Risk‑based Market P&L and P&L Explain, documenting gaps.
• Review and monitor the split of Economic P&L into liquidity and rate effects for ALMT perimeters.
• Maintain hedge‑accounting controls for Finance and Front Office where applicable.
• Submit finalized P&L figures for Front Office sign‑off and identify process improvement opportunities.

Required profile

• Degree in Economics, Finance or a related field.
• 0–2 years of experience with strong knowledge of financial markets and instruments.
• Fluency in English (B2+).

Required skills

• Python programming.
• VBA or similar automation tools.

What we offer

• Gross annual salary between €18,000 and €22,000, based on experience.
