About the role

The position is for a Paramedic/EMT who will join Allied Universal’s medical emergency team serving pharmaceutical sites. The role combines emergency medical care with security‑related duties, ensuring the safety and well‑being of clients, employees, and visitors.

Key responsibilities

• Administer first aid and emergency medical treatment to sick or injured individuals and coordinate transport to medical facilities.
• Provide customer service while applying site‑specific security procedures and emergency response protocols.
• Respond to emergency calls received through the dispatcher, following established emergency response procedures.
• Determine the nature and extent of illnesses or injuries and deliver care in accordance with EMT certification.
• Document all medical incidents, accidents, and emergencies, completing daily activity logs and incident reports for each shift.
• Prioritize emergency actions, request additional assistance or specialized rescue services when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols inside facilities and around the perimeter, adapting to varying site conditions.

Required profile

• Minimum age of 21 for unarmed positions.
• High school diploma or equivalent, or at least five years of verifiable experience.
• State‑certified Basic EMT, Intermediate EMT, or Paramedic license.
• Current CPR certification for Health Care Providers or Professional Rescuers.
• Willingness to undergo background checks and, where permitted, controlled‑substance testing.
