Packaging Engineer

About the role

TE Connectivity is looking for a Packaging Engineer to design and optimise packaging solutions across its product range. You will work with cross‑functional teams to develop manual and automated packaging concepts that meet quality, safety and environmental standards.

Key responsibilities

• Design new packaging (trays, tubes, etc.) and optimise existing solutions.
• Lead packaging‑related OMP and VAVE projects from concept to production.
• Provide packaging support to Manufacturing, Purchasing, Logistics, EHS and other departments.
• Drive cost‑saving initiatives and standardisation of packaging across EMEA sites.
• Prepare technical specifications, work instructions, cost calculations and shipping documentation.
• Investigate customer complaints, define corrective actions and ensure compliance with ISO 14001, EN 13427 and internal EHS procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management or a related technical field.
• At least 3 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Strong written and spoken English.
• Autonomous, creative and team‑oriented mindset.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
