OT Security Consultant

About the role

Inetum is expanding its Cybersecurity practice in Portugal and is looking for its first dedicated OT Security Consultant. You will work on securing Industrial Control Systems (ICS) and bridging the gap between IT and OT environments for national and international clients.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and support OT security architectures for client environments.
• Participate in OT/ICS security projects, audits and assessments.
• Protect communications between IT and OT domains.
• Provide consulting on ICS/SCADA systems, industrial networks and OT best practices.
• Contribute to documentation, security policies, network segmentation strategies and architecture reviews.

Required profile

• 2–4 years of experience in OT/ICS security or related industrial environments.
• Knowledge of IEC 62443 Cybersecurity Fundamentals (preferred).
• Proactive attitude with a strong willingness to learn.

Required skills

• ICS and SCADA technologies.
• Familiarity with MODBUS, DNP3, S7 communication protocols.
• Experience securing IT/OT communication flows.
• Hands‑on experience with OT security platforms such as Nozomi, Claroty or Fortinet.
