Operations Director for Europe

About the role

The Operations Director for Europe will shape and execute the organisational strategy that ensures our products are manufactured, packaged and delivered on time, to design specifications and quality standards, while minimising costs. This senior leader will also drive the successful launch of new products across the European footprint.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement an operational strategy for Europe aligned with corporate objectives.
• Manage P&L, budget planning and continuous‑improvement targets for all production sites and corporate departments under their responsibility.
• Maintain optimal inventory levels and ensure accurate reporting.
• Lead performance management and development of the operations team.
• Standardise manufacturing processes across all European sites.
• Oversee new project introductions from award to SOP.
• Define and execute a European purchasing strategy.
• Ensure safety performance and protect company assets.
• Develop and implement a quality strategy and systems for Europe.
• Establish costing processes to support new‑product quoting and growth initiatives.

Required profile

• Engineering degree (advanced business degree preferred).
• 8‑10 years of manufacturing management experience in the automotive industry.
• 3‑5 years in senior operations leadership within a complex, multi‑site environment.
• Proven track record in multi‑site management and lean manufacturing.
