.NET Full Stack Developer (Lisbon/Tomar)

About the role

IRIUM is seeking an experienced .NET Full Stack Developer to design, build, and maintain robust backend services and responsive front‑end components. You will work on modernizing legacy .NET 4.6.2 applications to the latest .NET versions while delivering high‑performance APIs for our clients in the banking sector.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop RESTful APIs using .NET (including migration to .NET 8/10).
• Build front‑end UI elements with HTML, JavaScript, CSS, jQuery, Razor, and optionally Knockout.
• Create and optimise database procedures in Oracle PL/SQL and SQL Server.
• Define API architecture, integration patterns, and enforce non‑functional requirements such as performance, scalability, and security.
• Develop and maintain background services and, when needed, SOAP‑based WCF services.
• Participate in CI/CD pipelines, release management, and deployment to cloud‑native/containerised environments (e.g., OpenShift).

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in .NET development.
• Strong understanding of API design, security, and scalability.
• Ability to work hybrid, attending the Lisbon or Tomar office 1‑2 days per week.
• Fluent English communication skills.
