Monitoring Industry 4.0 Internship

About the role

This 12‑month extracurricular internship focuses on monitoring Industry 4.0 applications at Bosch’s Aveiro site. You will research, design and implement monitoring solutions, contribute to architecture decisions, and gain hands‑on experience with modern cloud‑native technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and solve problems related to the monitoring of industrial applications.
• Research and implement solutions following architecture decision records created by you and colleagues.
• Write pull requests to propose code changes and improvements.
• Debug and test Kubernetes clusters using a GitOps approach.
• Perform minor web‑development tasks as needed.

Required profile

• University degree in an engineering or science field (e.g., Informatics, Electrical, Mechanical, Physics, Chemistry, Computer Science).
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
• Proactive attitude with a strong willingness to learn.
• Process‑oriented with a methodical and structured work approach.
