Model-Based System Simulation Internship

About the role

Join Bosch Aveiro’s R&D team to help shape sustainable, energy‑efficient heating technologies. You will develop, simulate and optimise core appliance functions using model‑based design tools, contributing to next‑generation hybrid heating solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and simulate system models of heating appliances with MATLAB/Simulink.
• Run model‑in‑the‑loop (MIL) simulations, evaluate behaviour against functional requirements and optimise control parameters.
• Document simulation results thoroughly and present findings to the engineering team.

Required profile

• Degree in Mechanical, Physics, Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Hands‑on experience with MATLAB and Simulink.
• Good understanding of thermodynamics, control engineering and model‑based design (asset).
• Proficiency in at least one programming language.
• Excellent oral and written English.
