Mobile Application Developer - AI Neobank App

About the role

KIRA is looking for an Android engineer to build the native Android experience for its AI‑powered Neobank app. You will create clean, high‑performance mobile flows that enable insurance, payments, claims, renewals and other financial services for real customers.

Key responsibilities

• Build and ship Android features using Kotlin.
• Create smooth mobile flows for insurance, payments, claims, renewals and financial services.
• Collaborate with product and design to simplify complex user journeys.
• Integrate backend APIs, ensuring stability, security and reliability.
• Improve app performance, crash rates, loading states, responsiveness and memory usage.
• Leverage analytics and production issue data to continuously improve the product.
• Develop AI‑assisted mobile experiences only where they add genuine value.

Required profile

• 3+ years of Android development experience using Kotlin.
• Strong Android fundamentals with production‑grade apps shipped.
• Good knowledge of Jetpack, Coroutines, Flow and modern Android architecture.
• Strong sense of mobile UX, usability, edge cases and user flows.
• Experience integrating REST APIs and debugging production issues.
• Fast execution, high ownership and strong attention to product quality.
• Portfolio links (GitHub, screenshots, app store) are a strong advantage.
