Mid-Level Front-End Developer – React.js & jQuery Migration

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Mid‑Level Front‑End Developer to join our dynamic team. You will focus on converting legacy jQuery applications into modern React solutions while also building new React projects from scratch.

Key responsibilities

• Migrate existing jQuery applications to React, preserving functionality and performance.
• Design and develop new, interactive React applications in collaboration with designers and back‑end engineers.
• Write clean, modular, and reusable code; optimise for speed, scalability and responsiveness.
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers and back‑end developers to integrate APIs and deliver seamless user experiences.
• Create and maintain unit and integration tests for React components.
• Use Git for version control and follow established review workflows.
• Mentor junior developers and document coding standards and processes.

Required profile

• 2‑4 years of front‑end development experience with JavaScript, React and jQuery.
• Strong grasp of ES6+ concepts, closures, promises and asynchronous programming.
• Hands‑on experience with modern tooling such as Webpack, Babel and NPM.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs, fetch/axios, HTML5, CSS3 and responsive design.
• Good understanding of performance optimisation, web security and accessibility standards.
