Medical Writer (CER) - Remote

About the role

Cross Border Talents is recruiting an experienced Medical Writer focused on Clinical Evaluation Reports (CER) for its client in the medical/healthcare sector, a company with more than 85 years of history developing products and therapies used in hospitals and clinics. The work is fully remote.

Key responsibilities

• Search scientific literature and collect research articles from databases such as PubMed
• Review articles and extract relevant information, summarising findings
• Apply medical concepts and terminology correctly
• Update project tracking tools and maintain project records, including archiving
• Schedule and run document-related meetings, prepare agendas and minutes
• Work with the study team to ensure clinical documents are accurate and complete

Required profile

• EU citizen living in an EU or UK country
• Proficiency in English grammar and sentence structure
• 2 to 5 years of recent experience as a Medical Writer
• Strong background in clinical and/or medical devices
• At least 2 years of experience writing Clinical Evaluation Reports (CER) or Post-Market Surveillance Reports (PMSR)
• Experience reviewing scientific literature and performing literature searches

Required skills

• Drafting literature reviews and state-of-the-art documents
• Knowledge of MEDDEV Rev. 4 guidance
• Understanding of Medical Device Regulations (MDR)
