Medical Strategy Lead, Oncology (Home-Based)

About the role

The Medical Strategy Lead, Oncology will provide strategic medical and scientific expertise to IQVIA’s Hematology‑Oncology Center of Excellence. Working remotely, you will support client engagements, proposal development, and clinical trial activities across the oncology therapeutic area.

Key responsibilities

• Provide scientific and clinical advice for proposal development, protocol design, and clinical development plans.
• Stay current with the latest hematology and oncology literature to inform project strategies.
• Participate in client meetings, bid‑defense sessions, and post‑award governance activities.
• Coach and prepare project teams to align execution with medical considerations.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders such as Business Development, Operations, and other medical strategy leads.
• Act as an internal and external consultant throughout the research and development lifecycle, guiding sponsors on clinical development.

Required profile

• Medical Doctor (MD) with oncology specialization; hematology training or solid‑tumor experience is a plus.
• Minimum of five to seven years of relevant experience in oncology/hematology.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently under supervision of the COE leadership.
